ORT SA CAPE invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2024.

About ORT SA CAPE

ORT SA Cape is an educational NGO that trains and supports teachers in disadvantaged communities in the Western Cape. Our dynamic education team specialises in both face to face and online training, focusing on the latest educational trends and building strong foundational skills in teachers. We offer short courses for teachers in literacy, numeracy, learning through play, perceptual skills, coding and robotics. ORT SA CAPE also provides hundreds of young people with internships opportunities and 18 month Level 4 and 5 SETA accredited ECD learnerships.

ORT SA CAPE invites applications for a 12-month work experience internship in the wider Cape Town area.  The programme will run from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025. Interns will receive training and a stipend for the duration of the placement.

Selection Criteria / Requirements:

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen between 18 and 28 years of age (born before 1 January 2006, and after 1 July 1995)
• Be unemployed
• Have a valid South African ID document
• Currently live in the Cape Town area
• Have a clean criminal record
• Commit to a 12-month internship contract
• Be available during May/June 2024 for interviews, criminal checks and induction.
