Our network of 13 centres is staffed with professional, caring nurses and doctors who provide vital services such as contraception, safe abortion, women’s wellness and pap smears and HIV counselling and testing and STI screening and management.

THE ROLE

The Procurement Officer is a strategic role which is part responsible for the implementation and management of the Procurement Strategy. S/he alongside the Procurement Lead, manages the entire spectrum of the supply chain which includes purchasing and purchasing strategies, distribution and logistics strategies, infrastructure management, inventory management and product quality management for Marie Stopes South Africa.

ABOUT YOU

  • You are Pro-Choice.
  • Studying for, or completed CIPS, CILT or relevant Supply Chain qualification
  • Good knowledge of sourcing and supplier management, order fulfilment, distribution and procurement processes.
  • 5+ Years operational experience in procurement, demand and supply planning, inventory management and infrastructure management
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking and writing)

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
