Brümilda van Rensburg Biography

Brümilda van Rensburg is a South African actress who She is best known for her role as Louwna in the TV series Egoli: Place of Gold. She wan born on 30th October 1956 in Philippolis, South Africa where she attained her BA Honours in Drama, cum laude, from the University of Pretoria.

Brümilda has featured in films, TV and stage plays. She featured in the movie Leading Lady in 2014,
Musiek vir die Agtergrond (2013), The Power of Three in 2013 where she starred as Olivia. She also appeared as Lottie in Brutal Glory, Lilian Shapiro in Eternity (2010), Dancing in the Forest (1988), Binnelanders 2014 as Jana du Preez, Die Binnekring and High Rollers 2012-2013 as Helena King.

Amongst the Plays she has featured in are: Hamlet where she starred as Ophelia, Orestia Trilogy Dieter Reible, Faust – Dieter Reible, Exit the King, Agamemnon to mention but a few.

Brümilda has earned many prestigious awards, such as Best Actress and the Fleur du Cap award, among many others and she seldom conducts trainings classes and workshops for upcoming Actors and Actresses.
