Enhle Mbali Mlotshwawhose was born on the 25th March 1987 in Soweto, Gauteng. He later moved to Umtata, the home town of late world icon Nelson Mandela, and grew up in Durban.

Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa Maphumulo is married to multi-award winning DJ and record producer Black Coffee.

Qualifications

Enhle Mbali Maphumulo studied Fashion Design at University of Johannesburg and also studied film at Boston. The actress recently went on to study Performance at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

Careers

Mbali shot to stardom with her role on SABC 1’s African murder mystery series, ‘Mtunzini.com’ at the tender age of 17. Her career was set to bloom from inception and soon landed a leading role on the popular TV drama ‘Tshisa’. In 2015 she launched a maternity wear range, SE Preggoz, in New York and South Africa. The range is all about still being able to look gorgeous and stylish while pregnant.
Enhle’s career sprung from her outstanding performance on Tshisa, which opened doors to roles on numerous South African leading soapies and drama series which include ‘iNkaba’, ‘Moferefere Lenyalong’, ‘Soul City’ and ‘Rhythm City’. Netting her acting career with presenting; 2009 marked the year Enhle started her TV presenting career where she hosted Channel-O’s Award Winning ‘Young, Gifted and Black’. She later went on to present ANN7’s ‘StarBiz’, a weekly entertainment show where she showcased her knowledge on the all things entertainment.
Enhle landed roles on popular TV hits such as ‘Rockville’, ‘7nde Laan’, ‘My Family’ and ‘Those who can’t teach’.
